Abstract

Children who have experienced violence or are exploited, abandoned, abused, or severely neglected, face significant threats to their survival and well-being as well as profound life cycle risks that have an impact on human, social, and economic development. The site introduces U.S. Government's efforts to ensure that children in adversity from around the world not only survive, but also thrive. The site includes US Government's objectives and implementation plans, news and publication on various programs.
