Les berges urbaines sont des endroits attrayants et des environnements récréatifs très prisés. Les conceptions de paysages fluviaux urbains doivent répondre à un large éventail d’exigences: le contrôle des inondations, la conception d’espaces ouverts et l’écologie sont généralement les trois thèmes dominants, et ils doivent souvent être conciliés dans un espace très restreint.
