Door de Onderzoeksgroep Sport- & Bewegingsbeleid van de KU Leuven werd in samenwerking met het Vlaams Instituut voor Sportbeheer & Recreatiebeleid en met de steun van de Vlaamse overheid, een onderzoek gedaan naar de gemeentelijke sportdiensten in Vlaanderen en het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. In het rapport Sportdiensten in beeld: basisrapportering over het Vlaamse Sportdienst Panel 1.0 (VSDP1.0) worden de resultaten van dit onderzoek gepresenteerd.
