Evaporating Borders is a visual essay, told through a series of 5 vignettes, that explores the experience of asylum seekers and political refugees on the increasingly multicultural island of Cyprus, the impact of immigration on abstract notions of nationhood, the rise in racial tensions and xenophobic far-right nationalist groups, and the global restrictive practices on migrating populations.
