Abstract

Frank Schneider, Cornelia Mattiello-Schwaller and Mike Mattiello, all three of whom were born in Solothurn but are now based in Zurich, have produced numerous competition successes. They became internationally renowned with their metal workshop design for the Zurich Dynamo youth centre, which was designed in a gripping "unity of materials". This volume compiles the buildings and projects they have produced since then.

Abstract

The Municipal Centre in Affoltern am Albis (2006) and the Festival Hall in Amriswil (2007) are two exciting buildings with which the young architects Pascal Müller and Peter Sigrist have attracted attention. Since founding their office in Zurich in 2001, they have won several competitions, including a large estate in Zurich-Affoltern (with EM2N) and the Dreispitz College of Design and Art in Basel, which are both currently in planning.
