Obsahuje originální i preložené verze nekolika umeleckých textu (povídky, drama, reportáže) doplnené odborným komentárem shrnujícím nejcastejší problémy spojené s prekladem a zpusob jejich rešení ci nejcastejší chyby a jejich analýzu. Na komentár navazují rozširující tematická cvicení s klícem. Kniha je urcena zejména polonistickým - šíreji slavistickým - pracovištím, ale s ohledem na obecnejší ukotvení i všem dalším zájemcum o teorii, ale predevším praxi a didaktiku prekladu.
