The conference Business, Economics and Sustainability Science (BESS) brings together leading researchers and scientists from the domains of economics, business and the environmental sciences and here worldwide to formulate a green outline for crisis recovery. The combination of public and business policies with technological innovation could be a scenario to mitigate the negative impact of economic activities on sustainable development. Green recovery can address the climate crisis through encouraging all stakeholders to act environmentally responsibly. The aim of the International Conference "Economic Scientific Research - Theoretical, Empirical and Practical Approaches"- ESPERA, initiated in 2013 by the "Costin C. Kirițescu" National Institute for Economic Research (NIER), is to present and evaluate the economic scientific research portfolio, to argue and substantiate the Romanian development strategies - including European and global best practices. The 2021 edition of the Conference will be held on 9th -10th December, under the title: "The crisis after the crisis. When and how the New Normal will be". The event scientific program addresses a wide diversity of themes, bringing together researchers from all NIER institutes and centres, members of the Romanian Academy, Romanian academic researchers and also guests from other countries. Researchers are encouraged to present articles on economic scientific research that they have focused, as much as possible, on paradigm shifts for the world after the COVID-19 crisis, since some deep and long-lasting changes are expected building up to a "New Normal". Singular relevant aspects could be related to complete digitalization and digital sovereignty, people and workforce management, virtual training and reskilling, digital currency, de-carbonization in all production processes, supply chains traceability, cybersecurity, automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning, Internet of Things and Blockchain technologies. The 4th edition of the International Conference on Quantitative and Qualitative Methods for Economics, Management, and Social Sciences (QQR’22) is a major event for researchers and practitioners to share ideas in the fields of Quantitative and Qualitative approaches, Economics, Finance, Management, and Social Sciences from both theoretical and practical perspectives. We strongly encourage contributions that describe real-world problems, interdisciplinary research, experimental and/or theoretical studies, while providing new insights into the areas of Quantitative and Qualitative Methods. Submitted papers should be original and relevant to any of the areas listed below. All accepted papers will be presented at the conference by one of the authors and published in the proceedings with an ISBN. The acceptance will be based on quality, relevance, and originality. Presentation option include both oral and poster sessions. We also intend to organize special sessions for case studies and commercial presentations, as well as technical tutorials concentrating on technical/scientific subjects. Companies interested in presenting their products or methodologies, and researchers wishing to present a demo or tutorial are encouraged to contact the conference secretariat. This conference focused on current issues of sustainable tourism in a disaster prone destination with the focused on marine and coastal tourism to discuss and disseminate research findings, elaborate concepts and methods, share idea and experiences among participants.
