School psychology is a young profession with many problems. Some of these problems concern the definition of role functions, whereas others involve professional relationships and technical issues. This book focuses on a few of these questions through the specification of a number of actual problems encountered in professional practice. All of the case reports and illustrations used have been adapted from real situations. Throughout the book the attempt has been to make a straightforward presentation and discussion of the issues involved to give the reader some insight into the nature of professional practice. The book is addressed to all those who wish to achieve some understanding of the problems experienced in the practice of school psychology.
