This master-thesis in clinical research analyses a population of 77 girls consulting at the "Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc", Brussels, from 01/01/2008 till 12/12/2012 for suspicion of pervasive developmental disorders (PDD). Within this population, we found 42.86% (n=33) of patients with a final diagnosis of PDD.The analysis of this master-thesis focused on the intellectual and developmental profile and the neurological associated disorders of the girls diagnosed with PDD.Conclusions confirm the higher prevalence of intellectual impairment within the group of girls diagnosed with PDD compared to the male population. This intellectual impairment was associated with language disorders, language regression, macrocephaly and seizures within the investigated population. Ce mémoire de recherche clinique analyse une population de 77 filles venues consulter aux Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc du 01/0112008 au 12112/2012 pour suspicion de troubles envahissants du développement (TED). Au sein de cette population, nous trouvions 42.86% (n=33) des patientes avec un diagnostic final de TED.L'analyse de ce mémoire s'est focalisée sur le profil intellectuel, développemental et les troubles neurologiques associés des filles atteintes de TED.Les conclusions confirment la prévalence plus élevée de déficit intellectuel au sein de cette populat ion de filles atteintes de TED par rapport à la population mascul ine. Cette déficience intellectuelle est associée aux troubles du langage, aux régressions langagières, à la macrocéphalie et à l'épilepsie au sein de cette cohorte.

The aim of this report is to cover the different pharmacological treatments used in autism spectrum disorder. These troubles are very varied. They affect one child among 166. This syndrome is treated first of all by behavioural interventions to stimulate the child. Most of the time, the results are good. In a second time, we’ll turn towards the pharmacological treatment.
The goal of this work is to review the pharmacology of the different classes of medicines and their interesting drugs and to make a table usable by doctors resuming the different drugs mentioned in the literature, doses, time of administration, side effects, EBM level and target symptoms Ce mémoire a pour but de parcourir les différents traitements pharmacologiques utilisés lors de troubles du syndrome autistique. Très variés, ils toucheraient un enfant sur 166. Ce syndrome se traite en premier choix par des interventions comportementales qui visent à stimuler l’enfant et donnent dans la majorité des cas de bons résultats. En second choix, on aura recours à un traitement médicamenteux.
L’objectif de ce travail est de passer en revue la pharmacologie des différentes classes médicamenteuses et leurs molécules intéressantes dans ce contexte et de réaliser un tableau utilisable par les praticiens reprenant les différentes molécules citées dans la littérature, leurs doses, moment de prise, effets secondaires, niveau EBM (Evidence-Based Medicine) ainsi que les symptômes visés
