Leitfaden und Toolbox für Job-Coachs Job-Coaching ist eine Maßnahme, die vor allem von der Bundesagentur für Arbeit und dem Jobcenter finanziert wird. Das Angebot soll helfen, Arbeitslose in den ersten Arbeitsmarkt zu integrieren. Aufgrund der Zielgruppe unterscheidet sich die Arbeitsweise eines Job-Coachs mitunter erheblich von der eines Karriere-Coachs, denn die Klient*innen kommen nicht immer freiwillig. Oft fühlen sie sich "geschickt" und sind mitunter wenig motiviert, frustriert und ohne Hoffnung. Deshalb birgt das Job-Coaching besondere Herausforderungen. Das Buch von Andrea Schlösser und Karin Kiesele hat sich in den letzten Jahren als Standardwerk zum Job-Coaching etabliert. Es wurde jetzt überarbeitet und insbesondere um Möglichkeiten des Online-Job-Coachings ergänzt. Es bietet nach wie vor einen strukturierten Leitfaden, angefangen von der Auftragsgestaltung, über Besonderheiten und Hürden dieses Coaching-Settings bis hin zu einer Vielzahl praxiserprobter Methoden.

This new volume of Labor Studies from the South is forged in a hectic contingency. And it is that since April 2022 (date on which the previous volume was published) a series of events occurred that marked the process of its elaboration, among them, the vote of the plebiscite ofoutput of the constitutional proposal elaborated by the elected convention, the first year of Gab's management.

Flexicurity is a European policy agenda seeking to increase both flexibility and security in the labour-market. This book argues that it needs a revision: Although flexicurity is set out to change the way Europeans work and live, and even though it is being justified by workers' needs, flexicurity lacks of a clear and democratically justified vision of society. Flexicurity is confronted here with Amartya Sen's capability-approach, a paradigm of well-being evaluation. How is flexicurity related to a concept of employment as part of a way of life which people have reason to value? How capability-friendly are established flexicurity-indicators? It is thus shown how the capability-approach can be used in the field of labour-market and social policy.

bstract: Economists have examined the impact of labor market regulations on the level of employment. However, there are many reasons to suspect that the impact of regulations differs across types of workers. In this paper we take advantage of the unusual large variance in labor policy in Chile to exa mine how different labor market regulations affect the distribution of employment and the employment rates across age, gender and skill levels. To this effect, we use a sample of repeated cross-section household surveys spanning the period 1960-1998 and measures of the evolution of job security provisions and minimum wages across time. Our results suggest large distribution effects. We find that employment security provisions and minimum wages reduce the share of youth and unskilled employment as well as their employment rates. We also find large effects on the distribution of employment between women and men.
