This is the first one-volume work to provide a thorough and comprehensive description of the physical background, rigorous theory and applications of Kramers-Kronig relations in the fields of linear and nonlinear optical spectroscopy. "This book explores the nature of climate change in southern Africa, its impacts on tourism and the resilience, adaptation and governance needs in various tourism operations and environments. Previous studies on climate change and tourism have mainly focused on the Global North and specific forms of tourism such as snow-based winter activities. Tourism is a major industry in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) as well as a growing field of academic study. The volume Landscapes of Affect and Emotion maps out the current approaches on emotion and affect in environmental humanities and interdisciplinary landscape studies. It discusses the contemporary emotional turn in humanities and its relation to space, place and landscape. Emotions and affects are addressed from three main angles: representation and symbolic landscape, place experience and lifeworlds, and landscape as an embodied set of practices. These are studied in terms of the changing human-nature relationship, focusing on politicisations and contestations of landscape as well as boundaries and hybridity between culture and nature.
