For the second boxed set of three zines, the three architects select new inspirations―books, everyday moments, gardens or other architects. In a 64 pages in zineformat on invitation of the Ghent architect and ETH professor Jan de Vylder, friends and colleagues each receive Carte Blanche to present important and significant influences on their work. In this second season, Inge Vinck presents Patrice Mottini's Maison Solaire, Momo Kajima the house La Mémé by Luicen Kroll, and Roger Boltshausen works of art by Otto Mueller, Trudi Demut and Hans Josephson. The architects present the unusual positions with their own texts and source materials like plans, drawings, sketches, the projects are documented photographically by Filip Dujardin, and finally each of them is contextualized by the architectural historian Maarten Delebeke, who contextualizes the works both in their historical significance and their contemporary echo.
