This studyinvestigates to use a microchannel-based heat exchanger using supercritical carbon dioxide near the critical point. The first part of this work consists is an experimental study of the heat exchanges steady-state to determine the influence of the different parametersover the heat exchange. It is followed by an experimental study in transient regimes to analyse the response of the system to transient heat flux or transient mass flux After the experimental part, a predictive model is developed for the steady-state conditions and anohter model for the transient conditions. They are compared to the experimental results. Finally, some conclusions are drawn considering the performance of this technology in the application of electronics cooling. ER -
