Na haar dood werd haar negatievenarchief ondergebracht bij het Maria Austria Instituut in Amsterdam. Voor dit boek werd uit het archief een selectie gemaakt van vooral portret- en architectuurfoto’s. Reportagefoto’s zijn minder vertegenwoordigd in het boek, waardoor ook de bekende foto’s die Besnyö in de jaren ’70 maakte van de Dolle Mina-acties in Nederland, ontbreken. ER -
