The publication offers comments on organizational learning in schools. The opening chapter sums up previous studies and theories related to organizational learning in general and organizational learning in schools in particular. The authors then proceed to describe their own empirical research in elementary schools in the Czech Republic. They used a mixed research design with a qualitative stage based on a multiple case study and a quantitative stage based on a questionnaire survey. They arrive at a variety of important findings about the processes of organizational learning, leadership, and management. The subsequent parts of the publication give information on the content focus and structural arrangement of organizational learning in schools, its actors, and the ways of support. Special attention is paid to supporting factors of organizational learning and some moral dilemmas related to the leadership and management of the processes of organizational learning in schools.
